Use the Arcadia University Net Price Calculator to get a quick estimate of:
your financial aid eligibility
an estimate of your federal expected family contribution (EFC)
your out-of-pocket costs if you attend.
Beginning January 1, 2015, Fall 2015 entering undergraduate students should file the 2015-2016 FAFSA form at www.fafsa.gov so that, when accepted, a more accurate financial aid package can be prepared.
The net price calculator only provides an estimate of your Federal Expected Family Contribution (EFC), which is not necessarily what your out-of-pocket cost will be. The Arcadia Financial Aid Office is the final authority on your exact EFC. Arcadia uses the information from your official FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to calculate your EFC and prepare your official aid package.
If you are entering fall 2016 and beyond, note that awards could potentially increase as scholarship amounts and formulas change each year.
Because the on-line calculator estimates eligibility for merit scholarships, it is recommended that students wait until they have SAT or ACT scores to provide (if entering as freshmen; transfer students will need number of credits completed and overall cumulative college GPA) so merit scholarship eligibility can be determined.
Because merit aid/scholarships are based on self-reported academic information, the net price calculator will only provide an estimate of your eligibility for scholarships. The Arcadia Scholarship Committee makes the official determination of scholarships after acceptance, weighing factors like school competitiveness, courseload, types of courses taken (Honors, AP, etc.), along with overall grades/cumulative GPA, standardized test scores (for freshmen), rank (if available), and overall involvement.
Scholarship and grant amounts could increase or decrease depending upon changes in packaging formulas.
The EFC and estimated aid calculation provided are only as reliable as the data you enter. Information from your 2014 federal tax return (or most recent return available) is required. If you did not file a tax return, information on other sources of income for the 2014 calendar year will be required.
This calculator does not apply to International Students.
Special circumstances (reduction in income, etc.) are treated on a case-by-case basis. This information should be communicated directly to the Arcadia Financial Aid Office at the time you officially apply for financial aid.
This software is intended to estimate a family contribution for U.S. Citizens and permanent residents. It does not apply to Canadian or other international students.
