To foster the development of students and prepare them to enter a professional work environment.
To enhance the perception and promote awareness of the Arcadia MBA brand.
Career Workshops and Programs
Each year, a series of career workshops is sponsored by the Alumni Office to assist alumni and students along their career paths. Broadcast e-mails and brochures announce these workshops to alumni and students. The Career Committee of the Alumni Board assists in these workshop programs. To be involved in this career effort, either as a presenter or as an attendee, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 215-572-2160.
Career Networking Events
There will be at least one event each semester where mentors and mentees will be encouraged to get together for a meal, to socialize and to partake in an activity.
Fall Speed Networking Event
Those interested in being a part of this program are encouraged to visit the Alumni Events page and register for the fall Speed Networking Event. During this event, students will be given a biography on each alum. Alumni will be placed at tables around the room, and students will go through a speed dating type scenario where they will sit with each alumni for a short period of time and talk. At the end of the event, alumni will give their top 3-5 choices for mentees, and students will do the same. Those who are unable to attend the initial Kickoff Event, but are interested in mentoring or receiving more information, should contact Professor Helene Klein at email@example.com or Nancy Woehrle, Associate Director for Alumni Relations, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Annual Career Networking Event
Local Volunteer Career Mentors are encouraged to attend the annual Career Networking Event which is held on campus, bringing alumni together to help juniors and seniors with their networking skills. Other mentoring opportunities include speaking on panels for specific academic departments and offering internships or shadowing experiences at your business.
