Ruth Estrich

MedRisk, Inc

Until her recent retirement, Ms. Estrich was a dynamic industry expert in the areas of Property & Casualty and Group Health Managed Care. Ms. Estrich has been part of the executive management team at MedRisk for almost fifteen years and was responsible for strategic initiatives, new product development, clinical operations and overseeing MedRisk’s clinical and research subsidiary, Expert Clinical Benchmarks (ECB); Ms Estrich is currently consulting with start ups in the Workers Compensation medical management industry.

Tom Johnston

Executive Consultant Biotech/Pharma

More than 18+ years of leadership experience in biotech and other industries. Mr. Johnston has most recently worked with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI.)  CEPI is creating innovative partnerships between public, private, philanthropic and civil organisations to create new vaccines that will prevent deadly infectious diseases that have epidemic potential from becoming global health emergencies.  Tom previously led Mucosis BV, a Dutch vaccine developer, as Chief Executive Officer after starting with the company in May 2011. He joined Mucosis from Novavax Inc., where he served as Vice President of Strategy since April 2008, where he developed and executed a regional partnership strategy concluding deals in India, Mexico and South Korea. Prior to joining Novavax, Mr. Johnston served as an executive-level Strategic Consultant in a number of industries including biotech, financial services, and electronic security, with clients such as Novavax, RBC Bank and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Johnston held varying senior‐level positions with a number of world‐class organizations such as Comcast, Microsoft, and Schlumberger. Mr. Johnston holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Arcadia University.

Julie Landis

DPT Vice President Business Development, Briotix

MedRisk, Inc Julie is a graduate of the Arcadia Physical Therapy Program. Following her time as a clinical Physical Therapist, she was President and CEO of Ergo Concepts, LLC for the fifteen years prior to selling her business to Briotix Health, where she has served as Vice President of Business Development. Briotix Health is the industry leader in workforce performance and optimization solutions. Services include Industrial Sports Medicine Programs for Working Athletes, Onsite Physical Therapy, Ergonomics, Safe Patient Handling & Mobility Programs for Healthcare, Specialized Solutions, and Technology Enabled Services.

In her role, Dr. Landis is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and linking client needs to the Briotix Health service portfolio. Briotix Health prides itself as a relationship company that gets to know the work and know the worker. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Associate, APTAs Occupational Health Section, American Society of Safety Professionals, and The Risk Management Society.

Alan Zuckerman

Self-employed healthcare strategy consultant  | Recognized for his ability to bring unique strategic solutions to providers reorienting their strategic plans to account for healthcare reform and other environmental forces in highly dynamic markets. With a recent focus on helping healthcare organizations determine their role in a consolidating market, Mr. Zuckerman is a frequent speaker on a variety of healthcare topics and the author of six books, including three editions of Healthcare Strategic Planning.
