Academic Advising

Communicating with your adviser is welcomed! If you've declared a major, you can find your adviser in Self-Service by clicking on the “Home” tab and selecting “View Schedule.” Students who have not declared a major work with one of our professional advisers. All are welcome to submit questions to the Advising Form.

First-Year Student Schedules

First-year undergraduate students must contact and work with their academic advisers to discuss their schedule and register for spring classes. Your adviser will need to approve your course schedule, and can help you assess and adjust your schedule now and in the future.

Transfer Student Schedules

You can work with your adviser to assess and adjust your schedule. If you don't have an assigned adviser, you can reach out to the chair of your department or major for assistance.

Graduate Student Schedules

Based on your graduate program, you may be responsible for registering for courses, or registration may be done by your academic department. If you are unsure, check in with your academic adviser, who can also help you assess and adjust your schedule. If you don't have an assigned academic adviser, you can reach out to the chair of your department or major for assistance.
