Physician Assistant Alum Joins Maine Health Center

The Lincoln County (Maine) News reports that Alison Welsh, PA-C is joining Sheepscot Valley Health Center in Coopers Mills in February. Welsh is a graduate of the Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant program at Arcadia University. Welsh is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In 2005, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.

“Prior to attending Arcadia University,” she told the News, “I was a medical assistant in a primary care office, a technician in an emergency department and a member of local emergency medical services.
