Visions of Hersheys Kisses Danced in Her Head
No sugarplums for Tiffany Miller Strahan ’02. Instead, she might have had visions of giant Hershey’s Kisses or the world’s largest Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups dancing in her head over the holidays. It took her and an 18-member team 1,500 Kisses to build the Hershey’s Holiday Chocolate House: A Sweet Candy Chalet at Hershey’s Chocolate World. Strahan is part of the Research & Development team at The Hershey Company that designed and decorated by the ultimate chocolate house.
The adorable chalet stands 13 feet tall and occupies over 100 square feet of floor space. Every available inch—covering more than 100 square feet of floor space—was covered in Hershey’s famous chocolate and confectionary products. To see how Jolly Ranchers become stained glass windows that sparkle in any light, how much the world’s largest Kisses weight, and how many hundreds of feet of green Twizzlers were needed for the roping, see the Hershey photo gallery.
