Larissa A. Hageman was awarded the Provost’s Prize as the sophomore with the highest cumulative average for three semesters of study at the Arcadia University Honors Convocation on March 27. Hageman, of Jamison, Pa., plans on studying abroad next spring in London.

“Larissa’s first two years at Arcadia University have been flawless,” said Assistant Professor Mark Wade. “She has a 4.0 GPA in both her English major and overall. She is focused in a way not typically seen of someone her age. She knows who she is and what she wants, and has the drive and thoughfulness to achieve any goal. But, most importantly, Larissa is a true individual. Her thoughtful intellect and emotional maturity allow her to evaluate the world around her in ways that brings her to unique and amazingly clever conclusions.” (Photos)
