HBO, Showtime, MLB, NHL, NFL Networks Added to Campus TV
Students return this fall to a brand new menu of TV channels in the residence halls and campus apartments—with 17 new channels featuring movie and sports programming such as HBO, Showtime, MLB, NHL and NFL networks.
“We’re pleased to offer these popular channels in your home away from home. Our expanded TV line-up, now totaling 66 channels, is available in student housing at no charge to resident students,” says Mimi Bassetti, Director of Administrative Services, who manages Arcadia Universities’s cable contract with Campus Televideo, which provides the campus with DIRECTV service.
The highlights of the renewed contract with Campus Televideo include:
- The 44 channel lineup available last year
- Plus 17 new movie and sports channels
- And 5 HD off-air channels that can be used for the student-run AUTV and campus information
