Manzo’s S.A.F.E. Project Receives Recovery and Resilience Award

The S.A.F.E Project, an organization co-founded by Marie Manzo, a clinical psychologist and Adjunct Professor in Arcadia’s Public Health Program, received a 2011 Recovery and Resilience Award from the Montgomery County Mental Health Association on May 25. S.A.F.E. is a domestic violence program that provides a treatment program for male batterers, a partners program, a program for children who were abused or who witnessed abuse, and education and prevention. Over the last 18 years, the program has saved the lives of thousands of women and children.
