“In life in general or in any specific pursuit, if you know who you are…if you know what your own creative, ethical or emotional compass is, you will never get lost,” Rosalie Swedlin Cort ’68 said at the Graduate Commencement Ceremony on May 19. “And rather than limiting your options, it will open you up to opportunity, interesting and exciting detours and adventures off the road you’ve chosen. Because that internal compass will always know how to relocate due north.”

Cort, an Arcadia alumna and award-winning executive producer, received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree. View her entire speech.
