Arcadia Student-Athletes Help Clean Up Campus for NCAA Division III Week

A total of 100 Arcadia University student-athletes took part in a campus cleanup effort on Monday, April 7, as a part of the NCAA Division III Week, which runs from April 7 to 13. View photo gallery.

The campus cleanup was organized by Arcadia’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and involved participants from the men’s basketball, field hockey,men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s, and women’s soccer, softball, women’s swimming, and women’s tennis teams.

Community service is one of the cornerstones of the student-athlete experience at Arcadia, which was recently recognized by the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA) for its work in the campus and local community. Arcadia received Honorable Mention in the Array of Projects category for the 2012-13 NADIIIAA/JOSTENS Community Service Award.
