Despite a morning chill, the Dec. 7 Open House at Arcadia brought nearly 1,250 people to campus. Faculty, staff, and students led information sessions and campus tours for 476 prospective students, while attendees learned about financial aid, campus activities, and international experiences such as Preview, First-year Study Abroad Experience, and the University’s Majors Abroad Programs.

This fall’s Open Houses were attended by 1,933 prospective students, an increase from the four previous fall seasons; last year, 1,672 students attended the fall Open Houses. Continuing a trend seen last month, applications completed during the day more than doubled compared to the December 2013 Open House.
