President Christensen Shares Global Learning Strategies at ACE National Conference
On March 16, President Nicolette DeVille Christensen joined a panel discussion at the 97th Annual Meeting of the American Council on Education (ACE), where she shared insights on innovative curriculum initiatives and strategies for creating intercultural experiences on campus. The session, “Global Learning for All: Modest Budgets and Creative Strategies,” addressed the challenges of providing opportunities to develop global competence to students who are not able to study abroad for extended periods of time.

This year’s meeting, held March 14-17 in Washington, D.C., focused on renewing a commitment to equity in the United States with the theme “Promises to Keep: Higher Education and the Public Trust.” The conference explored how institutions can help solve technological, economic, political, and social issues while educating students.
