Oct. 4: Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians to Perform at Arcadia University

By Caitlin Burns | September 26, 2016

The Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians will play a community concert at Arcadia University on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. The 45-minute concert is part of the second annual Audience Appreciation Concerts, which will take the musicians to 14 locations across the Philadelphia region for free “pop-up style” concerts– meaning no RSVP necessary.

The performance at Stiteler Auditorium in Murphy Hall will include the Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians String Quartet with bass and piano accompaniments, and have an impromptu music lineup.

This event is free and open to the public. This is the second year the Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians have played an impromptu concert on campus. Other stops throughout the day include Temple University, Reading Terminal Market, 30th Street Station, and University of the Arts.
