Hello! My name is Katie Garrett and I am a junior at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. I am majoring in Art History, which I will study at University College London this fall semester. I grew up in a suburb of Portland, OR, and traveling 3,500 miles for school has given me independence, helped me discover my identity, and inspired me. I love traveling, singing, writing, hiking, and any type of exploring really! I have spent the past two summers as a backpacking guide for scouts in New Mexico, for I love both the bustling city and the serene wilderness. I find both environments to be full of opportunities, contagious excitement, and rejuvenating energy.
