Monica holds a Masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution and Certifications in Mediation and Embodied Social Justice. She regularly uses art and creative expression as visceral methods that communicate the impact of sensorium in our lived experience. Most recently, she delivered her masters thesis, "Placeholder: The Challenge of Settling and Resettling Bodies in Peacebuilding" in a performance format that combined academic research with artistic expression for the Buffer Fringe Festival, a sponsored project of the Home for Cooperation in the Republic of Cyprus.
