Dr. Loury Receives African American Women in Higher Education Award

Dr. Doreen Loury, assistant professor of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Anthropology, was highlighted by The Philadelphia Tribune as the African American Women Veterans in Higher Education recipient at the Association of Black Women in Higher Education’s conference on Oct. 18.

The Tribune also noted that Loury spoke during Arcadia’s Fright Week, where she discussed the connection between fear and race on Oct. 16.
