April 3-9: Arcadia University Celebrates National Public Health Week, Additional Events Planned for Later in April

Arcadia University’s Department of Public Health is marking National Public Health Week with events and resources for the University community from April 3-9, 2023. From Monday, April 3, to Friday, April 7, stop by Public Health’s table in the Chat from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for resources, games, giveaways, and raffle prizes. There will also be a walking group on those five days that meets in front of the Commons at noon. Everyone is welcome!

Monday, April 3

1–2 p.m. Yoga with Dejenaba Gordon, assistant professor of Public Health

4–5:30 p.m. Being a Disease Detective: Epidemiology and Community with Monica Giacomucci ’17MPH, Epidemiology Research Associate with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Epidemiology, and this year’s Vomachka Award recipient

10 a.m.–4 p.m. Student Health Services is partnering with Bebashi Transition to Hope for free HIV and STI testing
