Strategy Development Notecards

Nearly 500 Arcadia community members have participated in 33 strategy development sessions thus far this semester, providing invaluable feedback to the ongoing process. Nearly 400 input cards from 36 academic departments and staff units were submitted and have continued the conversation about an adaptive strategy.

In November, senior University leadership had a two-day retreat that engaged the themes and initiatives that emerged from the community sessions, and then began to prioritize the initiatives. The University hopes to conduct such retreats on a regular basis to more closely identify and prioritize initiatives.

The strategy development process is being led by Dr. Jeff Rutenbeck, provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs; Rashmi Radhakrishnan, vice president for IT and chief information officer; and Joseph Sun, director of Strategic Initiatives. Anyone with further suggestions, comments, or observations can submit them via the strategy development website. The process will continue through the early part of the spring 2020 semester.
