Summer and Fall Welcome are planned by a dedicated team of professional staff and students to coordinate and implement our orientation program for new students. Upperclass student Orientation Leaders (OLs) are selected and trained to mentor and guide new students. More information about the New Student Welcome program is available at www.arcadia.edu/venture.

Arcadia’s orientation program is designed to support new student transition to college life. In particular, orientation involves:

  • Getting to know your new classmates
  • Meeting members of the Arcadia staff who will advise and support you
  • Answering questions about everything from housing to studying abroad
  • Including your parents, family, and friends in the process of beginning your Arcadia journey

Summer Welcome is a one-day experience where new students and families will be engaged and learn more about what to expect as an Arcadia student. Fall Welcome will begin when students move onto campus where all first-year and transfer students are engaged in immersive programming and campus-culture activities.
