Free tutoring is available through the Learning Resource Network, Knight Hall, 215-572-4033 for most subject areas. Tutoring is provided on a one-to-one or group basis. LRN peer tutors can also meet with students virtually. For more information on how to get a tutor or how to become a tutor, check the LRN web page at www.arcadia.edu/lrn or send email to tutor@arcadia.edu. The LRN Lab in Knight Hall has four networked PCs, a printer, and a scanner. In addition, we have lots of free study tools (highlighters, index cards, stickies) and many other academic resources. Call or email tutor@arcadia.edu with any questions or to make an appointment.Students should join the Virtual LRN in Canvas for schedules, resources, updates, and to meet our tutors virtually. To schedule an appointment with a tutor, students should join the Virtual LRN.
Hours for tutoring: Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Instructions for scheduling an appointment can be found by joining the Virtual LRN. Any student who cannot find an appointment with a tutor on the schedule should email tutor@arcadia.edu.
The Virtual LRN in Canvas is “open” 24/7. Students will find resources and videos for academic support, and information about group and drop-in tutoring. If students have any other questions or concerns regarding academic support, they can email tutor@arcadia.edu.
