Arcadia Awards Honorary Degrees to Two Legislators, One Professor
Arcadia University will award three honorary degrees at its Graduate and Undergraduate Commencement ceremonies this week.
- U.S. Rep Allyson Y. Schwartz will be awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws at the Graduate Commencement at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 20. Read more.
- State Sen. LeAnna M. Washington will be awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws at the Undergraduate Commencement at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, May 21. Read more.
- Bernice Wenzel Jeffrey, an alumna who graduated in ’42 and became a Professor in the Brain Research Institute in the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, will be awarded an Honorary Doctor of Letters at the Undergraduate Commencement. Read more.
