Jeopardy Winnings Will Help With International Internship to London, Student Says

Ellen Eichner, an Ohio State University junior who will be participating in an internship program in London next semester through The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University, was recently eliminated from the college tournament semifinals for the game show “Jeopardy.”

Eichner won the first round with a score of $19,601 and because she made it to the semifinals, she came home with $10,000. She attributes a slow finger and categories that played to other contestant’s strengths to her loss, but is happy that she got as far as she did. “I still get to say I won a game of ‘Jeopardy’,” Eichner told reporter Jeff Danna of the Northbrook Tribune.

Eichner says she will use some of her winnings for an internship experience with Arcadia University this spring and to travel throughout Europe once her internship ends in April.
