Larissa Hageman ’12, a junior majoring in English from Arcadia University, and Colleen Dell, a junior business major from Elms College in Chicopee, Mass., received the prestigious King’s Study Abroad Excellence Award. This is a distinctive honor which carries with it an award of £2,500 for a semester’s study or £3,500 for the academic year. Their applications for the award were required to detail the ways in which their experience at King’s builds upon their academic studies and enriches their personal and academic goals. Only five of the awards are granted each year.

Both students are studying abroad this semester at King’s College London through Arcadia’s College of Global Studies. The students were honored on Wednesday, Jan. 12, when the awards were presented to them by Professor Rick Trainor KBE, Principal and President of King’s College London.
