On Wednesday, April 27, Abbey Ryan ’03 will conduct a live painting demonstration in Grey Towers Castle for Fox 29’s morning news broadcast. (Watch.) The Arcadia community is invited to watch Ryan and have the opportunity to appear on television. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. and runs through 9:30 a.m. Coffee and donuts will be provided. Ryan will be interviewed at 9:45 a.m.

Ryan, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art and Design, is known for her “Painting a Day” website, which was featured in O the Oprah magazine and in Seth Godin’s recent bestseller Linchpin. In February, she completed a live demonstration in the Castle that drew 100 in-person spectators, with the online broadcast receiving more than 500 live views plus another 550 people watching the archived show.
