Smith Receives 2011 Kraybill for Full-Time Study

Evan Jeremiah Smith ’11 was awarded The Ira R. Kraybill Award for Full-Time Study at the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony in May. The award is given to a full-time undergraduate student with the highest academic achievement in at least three years of full-time study at Arcadia.

Dr. Steven O. Michael, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated, “Evan possesses exceptoinal individual and intelectual strengths making it possible for him to succeed in any number of career paths, especially in the field of accounting. He understands the foundational rules of busines and accounting, and is an incredibly talented problem solver. He earned a 3.99 overall grade point average at Arcadia and was awarded The President’s Prize in 2010 and The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accounts Award in 2011 at the Spring Honors Convocation. Congratulations Evan.”
