On Feb. 9, donations collected during Arcadia’s Ebola relief drive last semester arrived in Sierra Leone. Fodeba Daboh ’11, graduate of Arcadia University’s International Peace and Conflict Resolution Program, presented packages of personal protective equipment to Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Social Welfare. Deputy Minister Mustapha Bai Attila said the donations will help children and families negatively impacted by the Ebola outbreak and thanked the Arcadia community for its contributions, according to Sierra Leone’s Awoko newspaper. Daboh is founder and executive director of the HEAL Initiative Sierra Leone, a community-based organization that supports children and youth issues.
