By Christopher Sarachilli | September 15, 2015

Students learn about the year’s Preview courses at the annual Preview Kickoff.

By this time next year, hundreds of Arcadia students will have spent a week in the Middle East, the United Kingdom, mainland Europe, far east Asia, South Africa, and South America.

Yes, the Preview 2016 courses have been announced.

In March, students in the Class of 2019 and new transfer students will have a weeklong academic experience in 15 locations across four continents. Over the spring semester, they will study the history, music, art, cuisine, economy, and language of these countries before visiting them during spring break.

Students can learn more about each course and talk to former participants at the annual Preview Kickoff on Sept. 17 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. outside of the Commons. Preview leaders will offer information on each country and course topics, which range from high-end fashion and luxury in northern Italy to the history and culture of Istanbul, Turkey, to educational movements in Santiago and Valparaiso, Chile.

Preview is a two-credit course offering a weeklong experience abroad during spring break, with airfare, lodging, most activities, and some meals included in the subsidized price of $595. Details about deadlines, payment, and registration are sent via email.
