On Tuesday, Oct. 6, the band GOODING will bring its “Funding the Future” tour to Arcadia University. Through a concert, multimedia presentation, and talkback, the group will shed light on the dangers of predatory lending and credit card debt, as well as the benefits to saving early and looking into student’s own communities for support and mentorship. The group will also expose the myth of rock stars, athletes, and actors who sell false images of overnight success.

The concert and presentation is scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Murphy Hall’s Stiteler Auditorium.

Based out of Los Angeles, GOODING is touring several states as well as Canada. Their music is described as “widescreen rock n roll” mixed with “blues and Americana.” For more information, visit fundingthefuturelive.org.
