Assistant Program Director of Forensic Science Kimberlee Moran has been appointed to the Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC) Crime Scene Investigation subcommittee. The OSAC is an initiative spearheaded by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the U.S. Department of Justice.

This subcommittee is entrusted with the development of national crime scene investigation standards and guidelines.
