By Caitlin Burns | April 7, 2017

Join students from the University Seminar “The Artist in the Community” as they host the annual “Art of the Syllabus” exhibition on Thursday, April 13 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at the Thrall Gallery in Spruance. The exhibition is a culmination of work created by the class and the organizations they visited throughout the semester.

Guided by Adjunct Professor Linda Ruth Paskell ’81, ’96MEd, the students worked with Parkway Northwest High School for Peace & Justice, Our Lady of Confidence High School, and A Step Up Academy to combine art and community service. Projects include mandalas painted on vinyl, African celebration masks, dream catchers, and a community canvas painting.
