Physician Assistant (PA) students from both the Christiana, Del. and Glenside campuses competed in the 15th annual Physician Assistant Olympics in Vincentown, N.J., on April 8. This annual event brought together the largest number of PA students in its history—a total of 472 students from nine programs around the region.

PA students and faculty participated in five medically themed games, a trivia bowl, and lawn games. Although the event celebrated the students and their hard work, it also was a way for the programs to raise money and awareness for Valley Against Sex Trafficking (VAST). From January to April, all nine programs raised a combined total of $20,000 for VAST.

VAST is a nonprofit organization in Lehigh Valley that partners with and educates various organizations, law enforcement, and community members on issues related to human sex trafficking. VAST also provides comprehensive care, self-empowerment tools, and education to those affected by trafficking.
