In recognition of her work and studio practice, Abbey Ryan ’03, associate professor of Visual and Performing Arts, was featured in the January issue of Artists and Illustrators, regarded as “Britain’s most popular art magazine.”

The article highlights Ryan’s daily painting blog, as well as the benefits of sharing art online.

Among her recent works is “Still Life with Copper Pot and Pears,” which she painted as the University’s inaugural Norman Johnston Faculty Fellow in Patmos, Greece. The painting is on view in “Perspectives of American Experience: A National Juried Exhibition of American Women Artists” at the Rockwell Museum in Corning, NY until Apr. 22.
