Dr. Eaton Presents on Literature at the University of Valencia

Dr. Kalenda Eaton, associate professor of English and Steinbrucker Endowed Chair, presented on the Harlem Renaissance and the contemporary experience of African Americans while a visiting professor in the Department de Filologia, Anglesa, i Alemanya at the University of Valencia in Spain earlier this month.

Dr. Eaton delivered several lectures to faculty and students on Jean Toomer’s Cane for an American Literature module, and discussed the Harlem Renaissance and the contemporary experience of African Americans. She also presented a public forum on her research and current experience in the United States.
