Arcadia Theater alumni Kishia Nixon ’15 and Trevor William Fayle ’13 will perform as leads in Sing the Body Electric, a Theatre Exile production showing through May 13 in Philadelphia.

Written by Michael Hollinger and directed by Deborah Block, the play follows Jess (played by Nixon), a failing physics student. Her mom hires a tutor to help her pass, but she is more interested in his son (played by Fayle), the survivor of a lightning strike that killed his girlfriend and scarred his body. When Jess’ tutor and mom hit it off, the two broken families are bound closer, with explosive results.

All performances of Sing the Body Electric are at The Latvian Society, 531 N. 7th Street in Philadelphia.
