Dr. Doreen Loury, director of Pan African Studies and assistant professor of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice, was one of nine women highlighted as a local ‘Sheroe’ in The Philadelphia Tribune on April 25. Dr. Loury was named a Sheroe at the fourth annual 105.3 WDAS-FM Women of Excellence Luncheon.
The Sheroe Award recognizes Pennsylvania women for their “brilliance, grace, and excellence.”
