Public Safety wants to remind the University community to adhere to the vehicular speed limits on campus. The speed limit is 15 miles-per-hour, except in parking lot areas, where it is 5 miles-per-hour. Arcadia sees a high volume of pedestrian traffic on campus, and it is important that vehicular traffic maintains a safe environment for all of our pedestrians.

Public Safety strongly encourages all University community members, especially those new to Arcadia, to sign up for the University’s emergency notification system, Send Word Now. The system is used for campus emergency announcements, including weather-related closings and timely alerts. Messages sent in the event of a life-threatening situation will be designed to convey actions you should take to protect yourself.
