Canfield Named Second-Team All-Region Selection by NSCAA

Junior Kim Canfield of the Arcadia University women’s soccer team has been named a to the 2013 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team, earning second-team honors at midfield.

Canfield started in 20 of her 23 games played while helping lead the Knights to a 13-4-6 overall record and the program’s first-ever ECAC South Championship in 2013. She led the team in scoring with 15 goals and a team-best 12 assists for 42 points. Her 12 assists were also the most in the Commonwealth Conference, while her totals in points and goals placed her second and sixth in the league, respectively.

Additionally, Canfield was named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District ® Women’s Soccer Team, which is selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), and was named a First-Team All-Commonwealth Conference selection for the second straight year.
