Female Runner? Participate in Physical Therapy Research

Dr. Brian Eckenrode, PT, DPT, assistant professor of Physical Therapy, is looking for female runners to participate in a research study comparing pain and balance in runners with and without knee pain. The study will assist Dr. Eckenrode in analyzing the age ranges and habits that contribute to knee issues.

The study requires two 60 / 90-minute testing sessions to take place within three days of each other. To qualify, participants must be:

  • A female runner (runs at least one hour per week)
  • 18 to 45 years old
  • Experiencing ongoing knee pain (at least 6 weeks or more) while running

Participants will receive a $10 Wawa gift card for their time.
