Dr. Sandra Hordis, Director of International Academic Programs, and Christine Litwin, Enrollment Management Counselor, traveled to Singapore March 1-4 to participate in Career 2012, an annual career and education fair, to represent Arcadia’s International M.B.A. program.

Held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, the career and education fair is the largest and most established career exhibition in Singapore with an average annual turnout of more than 250,000 participants. Attendees met top education providers from public and private institutions offering career advancement opportunities and education options. Offered at the Aventis School of Management in Singapore, Arcadia’s one-year International M.B.A. program is taught in English and accredited in the United States as an affiliated program of Arcadia.

“Singapore, having one of the most competitive economies in the Asia Pacific region, constantly desires an increasing pool of both domestic and foreign talent,” said Samuel Teo, General Manager at Aventis School of Management. “We were extremely pleased to have Dr. Hordis and Ms. Litwin from Arcadia University with us at the M.B.A. pavilion to offer guidance for working adults seeking to upgrade their academic qualifications. This event has significantly enhanced the presence of Arcadia’s International M.B.A. in Singapore and aligns perfectly with our mission to provide business leaders, managers and other professionals with a high-quality accredited American M.B.A. program in their quest for personal development, career growth and increased managerial responsibilities.”

“The career fair was a significant success,” said Hordis. “Students from all over the world came to explore their career options, and Arcadia’s partner, Aventis School of Management, stood at the forefront of efficiency, interest and enthusiasm at the busy fair. We received many applications during the weekend and even won the event’s award for best booth design. Everyone at Aventis did a wonderful job, and Arcadia can be proud to be affiliated with such a thoughtful and successful school.”
