Arcadia University’s graduate Physical Therapy students are finalizing their Health Promotions Projects to be videotaped on May 14 and 17. The presentations will then be made available in October during National Physical Therapy Month to each of the 70 affiliating health systems and private practices where Arcadia Physical Therapy students do their professional internships.

In addition each of the nine groups will give a live presentation to a local support group about the benefits of exercise as related to the group’s specific condition, such as fibromyalgia, breast cancer, childhood obesity, multiple sclerosis and Down’s syndrome.

“This is just one way that Arcadia’s Physical Therapy Department assists in promoting a healthy lifestyle in the community,” notes Dr. Rebecca Craik, Professor and Chair of Physical Therapy.
