As the faculty concluded their last Faculty Meeting of the year on Tuesday, May 3, strong winds roared up behind Grey Towers Castle as a storm passed through.

In addition to rattling windows around town, the strong winds also claimed two of the picturesque Bradford pear trees that line the walkway from Grey Towers Castle toward Kuch Center. The trees were relatively young, and can be replaced as part of the landscaping plan when the University Commons project is completed.
