Arcadia Receives Honorable Mention at American Physical Therapy Association’s Conference

On June 17, 2010, Arcadia received honorable mention from the Foundation for Physical Therapy 2010 Miami-Marquette Challenge. The results were announced during the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) conference in Boston, Mass.

The annual Marquette Challenge is managed by participating physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students across the country to support the Foundation for Physical Therapy in Alexandria, Va. The fundraising initiative began in 1989.

A total of 62 schools participated in the 2009-10 Miami-Marquette Challenge, raising a total of $260,380, a new record. Arcadia University received an Honorable Mention for raising more than $3,000 for the foundation.
