Abbey Ryan’s oil paintings are available in Eye Catchers at Gleason Fine Art in Portland, Maine. The exhibition is on view through Jan. 29, 2011. Ryan is a 2003 graduate of Arcadia and a visiting Assistant Professor.

“Eye Catchers, small works to dazzle the eye and tickle the senses, (include) sculptures by Laura Balombini and Jeff Barrett, small paintings by Abbey Ryan, and etchings by John Neville,” notes the Gleason website. Visit gleasonfineart.com for more information and to see some of Ryan’s oil paintings. View more paintings at Ryan Studio.

Ryan also participated in an exhibition and benefit auction at the Abbey Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Dec. 9. The exhibition featured works by 39 artists. All auction proceeds went to multiple sclerosis research.
