Arcadia University’s new King of Prussia Campus opened its doors to prospective students for the first Information Session, March 15. Designed specifically for working professionals, the new state-of-the-art facility offers adult students graduate education programs and Bachelor’s business programs in the center of King of Prussia commerce.

The 13,000 square foot campus is located at 1150 First Avenue, Suite 700, in the Parkview Tower Building. It is a prime location for meetings and peer-to-peer networking as the building itself is directly connected to the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge, which houses several restaurants and a nightclub.

Arcadia’s new facility includes five state-of-the-art large capacity classrooms, conference areas, as well as a lounge area filled with comfortable oversized easy chairs. In order to optimize workspaces for all settings, the space is furnished with easily movable and flexible furniture that can be rolled and compacted, allowing professors and students to reconfigure for any setting. A mobile laptop cart that contains 20 Macbook Pros stands in place of a stationary computer lab.

“This site is clearly an indication of the vitality and the innovation of the individuals responsible for leading Arcadia University today,” says Interim President Dr. James Gallagher. “And in my mind’s eye it’s clearly a gateway to a vital and interesting population which will be well served by the University.  One can almost guarantee that this place will be a smashing success thanks to the energy and commitment of the folks who are responsible for managing it.”
