Hundreds gathered at Blankley Alumni House on Monday, Aug. 29, for the annual Ice Cream Social, sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations. “We ordered enough ice cream for 600 people and ran out,” says Mike Minetti, Assistant Director for Students and Young Alumni. “On top of what we originally ordered, we got eight additional five-gallon tubs of ice cream.”

“The Office of Alumni Relations would like to thank all of the new students who came to the event. It was nice to see so many people smiling, having fun, and making new friends. We also had 20 recent graduates return to campus to scoop ice cream, spend time with the new students, and re-connect with each other. It goes to show that no matter where you are in life or how busy you are, you should always have time for ice cream and friends.”
