Alumni Homecoming and Family Weekend concluded with an explosion of fireworks over Grey Towers Castle on Oct. 15. Hundreds of alumni, students, family members and community neighbors gathered to watch the grand finale of another successful Fall Fest. (View photos.)

“Alumni returned to campus to celebrate a festive and beautiful homecoming, enjoying the student carnival along the Walk of Pride, joining families at the afternoon picnic, and cheering on the men and women’s soccer, women’s field hockey and volleyball,” says Georgene Pilling ’04M, Director of Alumni Relations.

More than 100 alumni and their families attended the Alumni Homecoming picnic, reconnecting over dinner and games. Knight Out Society members were treated to a reception of “delicious delectables” in the Landman Library Reading Room, where they were welcomed by President Carl (Tobey) Oxholm III and heard remarks from study abroad participant Isabelle Bitman and international student Sara Parisi.

Students, families and alumni also had the opportunity to see how the University has grown and were amazed by progress made on the nearly completed University Commons and the lush new grass on Haber Green.

The night concluded with a concert by Rick Kelley followed by the ever-popular Casino Mania.
