Seniors, Special Guest Enjoy Spotlight at Knight Club Show

Emotions were running high as Knight Club took to the stage for its two-night spring performance during Spring Fling weekend. On Friday, April 20, more than 20 seniors closed the sold-out show with a medley of songs from the 1990s and styles of dance ranging from hip-hop and modern to tap and ballet. The tradition of seniors performing the final number of the spring show dates back to the founding of the club nearly 10 years ago and gives the graduating class the chance to enjoy the campus spotlight one last time before crossing the stage at Commencement.

The standing-room only crowd of alumni, family and friends cheered on the dancers throughout the performance, which included a special appearance by President Carl (Tobey) Oxholm III during the second act. The show exemplified the creativity and passion for dance that Knight Club maintains on campus, along with Puro Ritmo and Exalted Movements.
