Marcella Haddad ’18 grew up in one of California’s most culturally rich and diverse cities, San Francisco, so she wasn’t expecting to experience anything new and different on her first trip to Philadelphia. However, Haddad soon discovered that “these streets told stories.” As one tale unfolds before her through a troupe of street performers, a theme to live and grow by during her time at Arcadia emerges.
