As part of a national effort to “celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide,” the Office of International Affairs is excited to announce a variety of global events during this year’s International Education Week. Kicking off Monday, Nov. 17, and running through Friday, Nov. 21, the range of lectures, screenings, and games will take place throughout the day to ensure the entire community has a chance to get involved. Notable events include Life After Study Abroad, a Multi-Lingual Scavenger Hunt, Celebrating Cultures, and a chance to test your knowledge and win prizes at an International Quiz Bowl. These events and more are brought to you by many offices and departments across the University. The State Department and Department of Education’s goal for International Education Week is to “prepare Americans for a global environment.” Be a part of this growing movement by participating in one or more of these events.
